Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.

Your menu title creates a permanent link "permalink" URL for your page. This URL link is what your vistors and search engines will see in their website address bar. The Menu Title is very important as you can not change the Menu Title "permalink" once you save the page. What you title your pages directly effects your websites SEO.
2.) Page Title
Your page title creates a SEO profile for your page. Page titles tell the internet what your website content is about so it can create and "page profile". This "page profile" is what determains your SEO.
3.) Short Description
As mentionsed above, your page is profiled by its Permalink and Page Title. For even more SEO profiling, you can add additional information about what is being displayed on your website or page.
4.) Page Creation Tools
Here is the collection of tools used to provide SEO. With the "Formats" tool, you can designate header tags and formatting. Creating your page with the correct format headings is essentail to SEO. You must highlight what your website and page are about. In the example above you can see that the page is highlighting "SiteNinja SEO" with an H1 heading tag.
